    This is our families 5th time at La Strega- we keep coming back! Letizia is an excellent hostess, and will make your sta

    It’s full of charm, history and comfort. La Strega is close to Siena but out in the country- surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It’s thick walls keep the place cool in the heat, and its many outdoor sitting areas invite you to relax under lemon trees, beside rose gardens, and watch the occasional deer and fox go by.

    We enjoyed the location and swimming pool, but we are quite disappointed by the cleanliness and facilities inside the vi

    Great location with an extraordinary view of the city of Siena. Clean private swimming pool. Nice beautiful owner who is busy with her air BnB and gave us full privacy. Historical Villa more than 400 years old protected as historical site by the government.

    The villa is not clean, we rate 2/10 for the cleanliness of this villa: floors are sticky; hairs and dog hairs under the beds; there are ants; kitchen is not used and cleans for months at arrival. Compare with the air BnB at side, it lacks lots of maintenance. The wash machine pipe was broken after first day of use but fixed the same day. There are planarian in laundry room. During summer, the villa does not cool down during the night: 28-30 degrees makes it very difficult to sleep without air conditioning, with open windows, there are lots of mosquitoes.
