Superb stay in idyllic location
An idyllic place to stay immersed in full nature. For us this was paradise. Arriving at Villa Lé Maas is entering into a different world. The quiet, the nature, the beautiful villa, the enormous bedrooms, the spacious bathrooms, all spotless, the manicured gardens. Everything stylish decorated and organised. We couldn’t have enough of this place. We were 5 and had 3 suites. We also had breakfast and dinner twice at the villa. All food is delicious, served at your time at the central big table. Thank you chefs. We enjoyed the pool which has an amazing view, relaxed an afternoon in the gardens. This is a place to enjoy so make time to hang around. Thank you to the wonderful, very friendly and helpful staff, all of them, they accommodate whatever request always with a big smile. We would love to be back. We highly recommend Villa Lé Maas. This was a full satisfactory experience. Thank you to all the staff.

Three nights just wasn’t long enough!
We stayed in ten hotels over a month in SriLanka and this hotel really stood out in every way. The location is stunning at the end of a steep twisting road through the forest. The family suite was exceptionally spacious and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was huge with a separate bath and shower. Definitely one of the nicest rooms I’ve stayed in for long time. The gardens and pool area are beautifully maintained and perfect to relax and unwind. It was one of the only places we saw monkeys who passed through the grounds but ignored us! The food was a real highlight here and the two chefs were exceptional in ensuring allergies were catered for. We loved discussing what the evening meal would be each day and then eating outside under the stars. Breakfast was huge to the point we asked for less after the first day. There is no bar here so remember to bring your wine and beer with you! The set menu we were given in advance seemed very complicated and inflexible but in reality you just needed to ask as the chef was very adaptable. Finally the staff team are exceptional - their care and attention to detail finished things perfectly. From walking us to the waterfall to showing us the spices and fruit trees around the grounds. Nothing seemed too much trouble. This is hotel is quite magical and definitely on our special places to return to.
All of the sun beds with umbrellas are all in one location which makes it harder to relax when other guests have lively young children who want to play and jump in the pool. Luckily the view from the terrace outside the room was just as lovely.

Absolutely amazing stay. The view is just unbelievable, with stunning mountains all around. Easily one of the highlights of our trip. We would happily come back.

An unforgettable little sanctuary in nature
A true hidden gem surrounded by nature. This beautiful boutique hotel has only five rooms, which makes the entire experience feel incredibly intimate, peaceful, and personal — almost as though you have discovered a secret place that very few people know about. Malintha, the manager, and his wonderful team make you feel genuinely welcome and cared for from the moment you arrive. Everything is done with such warmth and attention that you quickly stop feeling like a hotel guest and start feeling completely at home. The chef deserves a special mention as well — the food is absolutely incredible, beautifully prepared and genuinely some of the most delicious we had during our trip. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, and this is by far one of the most special places I have ever experienced. Not because it tries to compete with grand luxury hotels, but because it has something much harder to find: unique charm, soul, warmth and a true sense of place. We stayed for four days and honestly could have extended our trip for another week without even leaving the hotel. There is something about this place that makes you want to slow down, forget the outside world and simply stay. An unforgettable little sanctuary in nature, and a place I would return to in a heartbeat.
