My wife and I stayed here twice. The first time we had a small room down below the house, almost a basement cluttered with antique memorabilia. Price was reasonable but there was nowhere to sit but the kitchen table. I was ready to leave after the first day but we endured. Alfredo was exceptionally helpful but everyone else was indifferent. It states that it is 1/2 mile from the beach which is true but you have to hike a treacherous trail almost a waterway. I say trail but it is rocky and super steep. The pictures look much better than reality. The second time we used booking.com and brought a friend so we reserved a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit more on the main floor. When we arrived what we got was a 1 bedroom 1 bath with a pull-out sofa bed. We went round and round to no avail. Apparently the unit we rented was already rented to someone else. We stayed 1 night of 4 because we were so tired of traveling to get there, we didn’t have the energy to find another place and keep moving. Then we had to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute. We argued with booking.com repeatedly about getting our money back but every time they contacted the owners or whomever was in charge of booking they would not respond. Then booking.com said it was up to us to contact the property and obviously they ignored our calls and emails. We felt it was a bait and switch and we had no recourse. We were out the money and had to pay for another place. Needless to say we will never go back.
We came from Rome, took a train to Naples. Then a bus to Sorrento. Then another bus to the property. Not easy

Exceptional
The location was perfect - different beaches Marina del cantone and Puolo Beach were close. From there you could rent a boat or go to Capri boat tour. Beautiful cities - Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi - were also nearby. All within a short drive.
