Rural Idyll, ideal for the adventurous!
A quirky ancient place in a beautiful rural location, set in a working vineyard and olive grove. Very spacious rooms, the photos don't quite do it justice. Also complete with resident wildlife that include pigeons, bats and wild boar! Great views from house and terrace. Communicative efficient staff who were present but not intrusive. The pool was absolutely great, a size that you can actually swim in. We had an absolutely wonderful time here.
The description of the accommodation is not quite accurate. It is very much a first floor apartment (above a barn/cellar), accessed via a stone staircase which has no hand rail. A fabulous feature but not great for young kids or older people with mobility issues. Beds and mattresses need replacing, as does fridge. Access road is an unmande track which for the best part is fine. Could do with a little tlc from staff (if we'd had a pick and shovel with us we could easily have spent just a couple of hours making it a little easier to drive)!

Typische italienische Unterkunft mit Potential
Charmantes Landhaus in toller, abgelegener und ruhiger Lage inmitten der Felder. Drei große Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage und Mückennetzen👌🏼 perfekt für heiße Nächte. Großer Gemeinschaftsbereich mit Ablagemöglichkeiten. Mega Pool, der jeden 2. Tag (außer am Wochenende) gereinigt wird. Toller Balkon. Personal war super erreichbar und hat sehr schnell mit Lösungen reagiert, wie neuen Sonnenschirmen. Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel nach 1 Woche. Fußläufig sind ein paar Restaurants erreichbar im nächsten Ort, alles andere innerhalb von ca. 15-20 min mit dem Auto.
Die Ausstattung der Küche war wirklich mehr als notdürftig. Kein scharfes Messer, vernünftige Pfanne, Anzahl an Geschirr...da kann gern nachgerüstet werden. Die Betten haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen: sehr klapprig mit extrem durchgelegenen und harten Matratzen. Der Weg vom Haus zum Pool hat ein bisschen genervt - wir haben von einer Treppe am Balkon geträumt ;-) Alles in allem eine solide Unterkunft, die man mit ein bisschen Arbeit und Investition zu einem Traumort ausbauen könnte. Mit Ausbau der unteren Etage sogar für größere Gruppen oder zwei Familien.
