Villa Madua is my first choice when I am holidaying in Pula (which is often). It's a lovely boutique hotel with a classic rather than ultra modern vibe. The breakfasts are excellent too. It's part of a lovely cafe/restaurant complex.
A bit more information for guests about the several different restaurant/cafe/bar and terrace facilities within the complex. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace with lounge and covers but on several occasions when I popped up for an aperitivo it was closed.
