The elevator, we got stock in the fifth floor. The call bottom didn’t work and the other family that was also with me end calling 911.

The beds are horrible: especially the twin room. The mattresses are like cheap baby crib mattresses. Very loud with movements and u can feel EVERY spring. Floors were dirty. We removed our shoes at the door. Within minutes after our showers, we would have to wash our feet at bedside because they were black from walking barefoot in the condo. Rodent hair in the twin bedroom vent: this was reported twice and NEVER addressed as promised. Rodent activity in vent heard at night. Fan/light remote doesnt work in dining/living room area. Only works by flipping the outlet switch on, so those sleeping on sofa bed that needed the fan at night also had to sleep with the light on. Once again reported: they came and changed the battery, realized that didn't fix the problem, promised to come back and never showed back up. And, my mother never leaves the condo except at night for dinner, so they can NOT say they came when we weren't there. Also, was promised follow-up calls from my reported issues and never received those either. Don't get me wrong. This is my 5th time staying at villa madeira. I love this condo. This is also my 2nd or 3rd time renting with resort realty. But i will NEVER rent thru resort realty again 🤬 OH, and i got stuck in the elevator for over 30 minutes. I had to call 911 to get out. And, the help button in the elevator does nothing. The alarm sounds but i guess they think its children playing with the button. Thank God i had my cellphone. Also needs more than 1 days worth on towels. We had to wash towels EVERY day on our vacation 😫

Cute place, a wonderful view from our balcony.
The key system at this place is not desirable. Our place has a key for the elevator and one for the room. Even with two sets, I have a family of five going back-and-forth from the beach all day, and a lot of times we are kind of split up at night. We are always wondering, who has the keys and where are they? It’s not really something I wanna think about on vacation.
