    Favourite place we’ve stayed in Cangu

    The villa is beautiful and clearly very well looked after. Clean pool, big rooms with good showers and a bath. The sunken lounge is heaven. The unlimited filtered drinking water and welcome drink / fruit shows the attention to detail and didn’t go unnoticed.

    Nothing - the host was amazing and so attentive. Maybe just a curtain inside to stop the glare on the tv.

    Great stay in a perfect location with ample room for four.

    Great location, awesome pool, good sun, great TV that you can watch from the pool area. Very quiet and private yet only a stones throw from the main area. Main access is via pin code which is great. Would stay again without hesitation. Note: the mirror behind the pool is starting to delaminate so keep that in mind for your pool selfies 😜

    Used the smaller bedroom on recommendation of the host as the master bedroom opens onto the outdoor bathroom. This means the AC does not operate as effectively and there is more noise and oportunity for mosquitos to enter. The door between both Bathrooms and bedrooms is a louvered door so does not seal. There was an odour coming from the hot water (this was drained by the host which assisted) but the smell returned after a few days. The bedroom we used had a slightly musty smell but this may have been a result of the water. There are no international power sockets so an adaptor is essential. To be aware: Access to the bedrooms from the living area is via the courtyard. Each room has a seperate key which was a bit annoying if wanting to get something from the living area during the night. When it rained we ended up walking water into the rooms.
