  Never again - large house but power cuts and a pathologically stingy owner making problems

  + Huge, clean house

  Antonio, the 70-year-old owner, is—sorry to say—a pathological miser and a liar. I’ve been using Booking.com since the very beginning, across dozens of countries and several continents, and this is the first time I’ve encountered someone like this. You can only communicate with him via email because the phone number listed on Booking belongs to a complete stranger. Antonio won't change it because—or so he claims—Booking charges a fee for doing so! When we arrived, he didn't let us in, even though we used the intercom, shouted, and honked the horn. He claimed he didn't hear us. We couldn't call him because we didn't have his real phone number. Incidentally, Antonio doesn't speak a word of English. When he found out an extra person would be joining us for three days, he demanded an additional 200 euros—insisting the payment be made outside of Booking.com so he wouldn't have to share the revenue with them. He set the electricity usage limit so low that you couldn't run the dishwasher and vacuum at the same time without tripping the circuit breakers. By the way, to flip the breakers back on, you have to go outside the locked gate. Opening it manually in the dark is a real challenge. The owner must have known that previous guests had reported this issue, as he tried to explain it away by claiming there was a fairground nearby causing power problems.

  A fantastic villa in a good location to enjoy the many delights Puglia has to offer.

  The villa is exceptional, lots of relaxing areas inside and out to sit and relax. The pool area was amazing, very well kept with good attention to detail. The small village of Noci has everything locally you would need including some nice restaurants, bars and cafes as well as some supermarkets. It’s also a good base to visit other lovely towns in the area.

  Très belle maison mais grosse frustration sur l'accès des chambres.

  La maison est très grande et bien placée. L'environnement est très calme et la piscine grande pour faire des longueurs. L'équipement est plus que complet.

  La maison a 5 chambres dont 4 avec des lits doubles. Nous étions 4, moi-même et mes 3 enfants. Le gérant a voulu nous faire dormir d'abord dans des chambres avec lit double pour n'en ouvrir que 3, les autres étant fermées à clé. J'ai refuse car aucun de nous ne souhaitait partager son lit. Après une longue discussion, il a ouvert une chambre avec deux lits simples et n'a rien voulu entendre à mes protestations. J'ai payé pour la maison entière et au final seules 3 chambres sur 5 étaient accessibles. Mon fils adulte a partagé sa chambre avec sa soeur de 10 ans. Je n'ai jamais vu ca dans une location. Des pièces fermées pour garder des affaires, oui, mais jamais de chambre fermée sur la volonté du gérant qui estime qu on doit partager notre chambre. L'annonce donnait 5 chambres, j'ai payé pour une location de la maison entière avec 5 chambres et nous avions donc le droit d'avoir chacun notre chambre. le prix et mon choix était lié au nombre de chambres.

  Ein wirklich hervorragendes Objekt mit aussergewöhnlich freundlichem Gastgeber!

  Die Lage der Villa ist einfach perfekt kurz vor Noci! Das Haus ungewöhnlich grosszügig und ein toller Pool rundet mit einem perfekten Garten die ganze Anlage ab! Die Sicherheit von Gästen und Fahrzeugen wurde Rechnung getragen da es genügend Parkmöglichkeiten um das ganze Haus hat! Zusätzlich sind automatische Beleuchtungen montiert die perfekt funktionieren! Das elektrische Zugangstor ist ein wenig langsam aber zuverlässig und stabil. Ein aussergewöhnlich gepflegter Garten hat uns erwartet und der Pool zwar kalt 17° aber das Wasser sehr gut unterhalten! Unser Gastgeber Antonio, hat uns ausreichend mit sehr guten Informationen ausgestattet und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar, was nie notwendig war! Vor allem sein Restaurant Tipp das "Boschetto" sei ausgezeichnet kann nur bestätigt werden! Regelmässig ist er vorbeigekommen um Pool und Abfallmanagement (Italien für mich ein Rätsel) zu unterhalten! Auch die Endabgabe ist einfach und unkompliziert vonstatten gegangen!

  Wir haben einzig die Unterlagen für die Poolbetten vermisst! Die wurden wahrscheinlich bereits für den Winter eingemottet. Da aber Fitnessmatten vorhanden waren, wurde das Problem pragmatisch gelöst!
