Extrem zuvorkommende Gastgeber und eine atemberaubende Aussicht
Die Eigentümer geben sich große Mühe, allen Wünschen zu entsprechen, und haben unseren Wunsch, das hervorragende Abend-Menü für uns aufgrund eines überraschenden Trauerfalls in der Familie klein zu halten, wunderbar umgesetzt. Die Aussichts-Lage über dem Lago Maggiore ist absolut beeindruckend, wenn auch nur über enge, kurvige Straßen zu erreichen. Das Hotel war sehr gepflegt und sauber.
Der Aufenthalt in einem so gepflegten antiken Ensemble ist beeindruckend, war aber für uns auch ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Eines der Betten hat leider anhaltend geknarrt, was aber angesichts unseres unfreiwillig verkürzten Aufenthalts nicht ins Gewicht fiel. Es wäre sicher schnell Abhilfe geschaffen worden.
