    What a location!

    The villa was lovely and the location was perfect. Absolutely spectacular views and very convenient to be able to monitor the ferry traffic in the mornings! It's a short walk to the center of Varenna, the ferry, the train - I am a relatively (but not super) fit 65+ year old and easily managed the walk multiple times a day. We had no trouble walking from the train to the villa with our luggage.

    The third bedroom (with twin beds) and bath (with quite small shower/bath) are not ideal for an adult, though not uncomfortable. At least one of the larger beds (one of the two primary bedrooms) also wasn't the best, with squeaky metal springs supporting the mattress. But completely tolerable, and the location and the other amenities of the villa outweigh this relatively minor issue.

    The location and the interior design, especially the woodwork, were nice.

    The unreliable WiFi and uncomfortable beds. They really need to provide a new mattress and foundations for the upstairs bedrooms. The upholstery in living room also needs cleaning.

    To stay in an architect designed home overlooking Lake Como in a small town was awesome!

    The location was awesome. An easy walk to either the town square or to the ferry docks. The house was exceptional with a view over Lake Como. We were really able to unwind at this house. We're looking forward to a return visit.

    There was really nothing we didn't like.
