    We warmly recommend Jim’s house!

    Our family had a wonderful stay at Jim’s beautiful house. Our kids of 9, 13 and 16 had large bedrooms and their own bathroom upstairs. The terrace was lovely and shady, we enjoyed our breakfasts there every day. Jim was a good host, he met us upon our arrival and had provided some food and drink for us to get started. As the other property, nextdoor (also Jim’s) was vacant, he let us use the bigger pool belonging to the other house. A wonderful surprise for us all. We all really enjoyed our stay here!

    Excellent property with everything you need

    Lovely property with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The hosts were very helpful and provided food and drink for us on arrival. The swimming pool was large and there was plenty of sunbeds and chairs for relaxing in. Great facilities throughout the house, everything was as described

    The WiFi was free but was limited to the lounge area

    Homely and relaxing

    Very comfortable beds and pillows. A lovely swimming pool, with lots of sun loungers and beautiful outdoor views. Fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need and the bathrooms were very nice, with large and small towels, a very powerful shower with plenty of hot water, lovely large sinks and a bidet. We had a very warm and hospitable welcome from the owner (Jim) who had wine and fresh bread rolls waiting, which was a welcome touch, after our journey.

    Alvor village with eateries and entertainment were a little further than we'd have hoped, but a very inexpensive 7 minute taxi ride away. Also, there are a vouple of other restaurants and bars slightly nearer (a 15 minute walk, 5 minutes up the hill and turn right, then 10 more minutes) There was nothing else we didn't like about this beautiful house. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable.
