  A great, quiet location within 15 minutes of the airport and the perfect place to explore Puglia

  Max was a great host and spoke good English. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and well furnished. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. There was also free private parking in the land next to Villa Pina which you could access via one of the keys we were given.

  Awful, terrible place to stay.

  Totally disappointed, and would not recommend this place. Our room was in the basement, and the hallway smelled like must and mold due to water damage. Our room air conditioner had black mold around the air vents. The was also paint and plaster chipping off the wall in the bathroom. The smell of air freshener in our room was overpowering, and it was hot, so we tried to turn on the air conditioner to circulate the air. But the owner had shut off the A/C for the season, and all we got was more warm damp air. When we asked the manager if we could change rooms, he said we could not. We asked if he could turn on the A/C to cool our room, he said he would, and we went out to dinner. When we returned and asked if he had turned on our A/C, he said no, he just opened the door to the patio outside our room, and told us it was "cool enough" for us. We booked this place specifically with air conditioning, and that it was not available was a misrepresentation. The room we had was moldy, and absolutely needed circulating air to be safe and healthy. The parking was another hassle, not being on site as represented, but 20 yards down the street in a vacant lot that had a big iron gate that you had to manually open with a special key, and close and lock behind you every time you went someplace with your car. Lastly, the booking description includes a shuttle to the airport. When we asked to arrange for it, we were told it would cost €30 additional. All in all, this was the worst lodging experience I've had in years.
