Stay away!
The view.
The place was filthy, it has nothing to do with the images. We thought we could handle the lack of AC but it was impossible to open the windows due to tens of wasps living between the bug net and the window. We spent a ton of money and time on bug repellants to clean the wasps and spiders, centipedes and other insects living in our bedrooms. We cleaned the cobwebs, disinfected the tables and the toilets. We all ended up sleeping outside and left first thing the next day.

Uncomfortable and fly infestation- certainly not 9* rating or worth the money!
The property has a nice view from the pool but that was really the only memorable thing.
When booking this property please be aware it is right next to a working sheep farm with multiple stagnant watering holes (something that should be mentioned on the listing). The property had a HUGE issue with a fly infestation- we raised this with the host and Agni travel (the property management company) and their solution was dropping a bottle of fly spray at the property. The flys were so bad that the family could not enjoy a meal downstairs and struggled to cook. I also had a 5 week old baby and couldn’t breast feed downstairs due to the number of flys landing on the baby. We’ve stayed in Tuscany a number of times and whilst we have experienced the flys in their peak seasons we have never had to deal with them inside a property the the extent we did this holiday- it was disgusting. In addition the inside of the property is fairly different from the pictures provided online- the property is very dark and the kitchens (there are two) do not function properly- the downstairs oven is highly temperamental with broken power sockets, whilst the upstairs one lacking any working appliances (cooker did not work) and had to request for a kettle. This property was uncomfortable to stay in and hard for us to feel relaxed in. The property felt more what you would stay in for a school camp rather than a place you pay €3500 for the week- certainly not worth the money and left feeling a bit deceived!
