  Relaxing stay

  The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The best view you could get in Rethymno, no need to squeeze in with the crowd to watch the sunset, just the sunset in the comfort of the villa. The house is furnished with everything you need. There’s a washing machine, complete kitchen, big barbecue grill and a convenient private gated parking on the property. We traveled as couple with 2 young children and we had plenty of space. The kids loved the mini playground and the pool. The villa is located very close to the main town, near grocery stores and a butcher shop. The owner George welcomed us with some Raki and cheese. His mom sent over some pastitsio one evening. We had some restaurant recommendations and tried some of them. There are plenty of cats in the property, just be mindful of the food you set on the table outside. The host Etouri has always made themselves available. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay.

  There must have been an issue with the pool pump that the pool turned greenish towards the end of our stay. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but we stayed late on the beach so that isn’t a big problem for us.

  Absolutely gorgeous villa with stunning views which has created wonderful family memories.

  We had a late flight but the charming George was at the propery to meet us on arrival to give us a tour of the property along with a little sample of Raki and snacks which was most appreciated. The villa is located up a hill so be prepared for that (or walk to town and get a taxi back like we did) but it's so worth it as the view is spectacular! Splendid views of both sunrise and sunset and the gorgeous sea which we enjoyed while sitting out with either a morning coffee or various other beverages throughout the day. :-D We travelled as a family of 6 adults and took full advantage of all the facilities at the villa; pool, very comfy sun loungers, stylish hammocks, outdoor dining areas, wonderful bbq and table tennis. The villa completely fulfilled our needs completely and met all expectations. There was even a mid week clean when we were presented with a delicious dish of pastitio from George's mum which was a lovely personal touch and was very much appreciated. Top tip: Download the Wolt app to get your groceries delivered...so easy and saved us going up and down the hill to the shops when we ran out of provisions.

  Fantastic Villa for family and friends

  The host was exceptional; friendly and always contactable if needed. He kindly brought us cakes and a lovely meal made by his mother. The outdoor space was large with lots of seating both in sun and shade. Aircon worked well and there were plenty plates, glasses etc . The beds were comfortable. Contact with Etouri prior to the visit and during our stay was excellent; questions were quickly answered.

  It is a good half hour walk downhill to the old town; definitely need to get a taxi back. However the views were outstanding so really not a problem.

  The most perfect family holiday

  George met us at the villa and was the perfect host. From the local knowledge to the Raki on arrival and his mothers homemade Mousaka and special Cretan cakes he could not of gone more above and beyond. If you’re looking for more than a holiday home please stay here and please feed the cats we grew very fond of them. The most beautiful holiday and family memories that will last a lifetime. We will be back….
