    Für die ganze Familie ein Genuß direkt am Gardasee

    Tolle Lage direkt am See. Wir haben den Blick auf den See vom Garten aus sehr genossen. Da das Anwesen etwas erhöht ist, ist man vor neugierigen Blicken geschützt.

    Es ist etwas wie in einem Museum, wir wurden auch darauf hingewiesen, möglichst nichts anzufassen. Bei dem hohen Preis ist das sehr kleinlich. Haben die Kaution aber zu 100% zurück bekommen.

    A truly exceptional holiday home and location.

    Location was fabulous. The villa was exceptional. The pool and garden were extremely well equipped for a very relaxed stay. If there is a better view from a garage, we'd be amazed.

    We were rather reluctant to drive along the lakeside walkway to access the property without confirmation from our lovely hosts that we had not misunderstood the access instructions.

    Very good

    Location and views of the lake were fabulous. The garden was great to relax in. The house was beautiful.

    Notices around the house saying 'do not touch'. Concerns about damaging the marble made us worried and we didn't get a full understanding of how to use the kitchen because the emphasis was on not damaging the marble.

    Very good

    We were met by Emma, from Happy Rentals, to checkin to the villa and she was fantastically lovely & helpful! She kept in touch with us throughout our stay and when we had one minor issue (with a door we couldn't open) Emma was very responsive and got it sorted within an hour :-) Great service! The villa's location is absolutely amazing! You are right on the lake - our 3 x teenagers went swimming in the lake every day - and 3 minutes walk from the hustle & bustle of Malcesine. The garden around the villa is very spacious and lots of chairs/cushions for relaxing. We hired bikes from Bike Xtreme (by the cable car station) and they were great - the owner actually hired my husband his own bike as there no XL left. We didn't book in advance but would suggest it's a good idea.

    One small observation is that most items of furniture in the villa are covered in dust sheets which you are not allowed to remove (including the beautiful piano from the picture and the sofas) and there are 'Do Not Touch' signs - understand that these are valuable items of antique furniture that the owner does not want damaged but perhaps should be shown as such in the villa pictures.
