  Splendid stay: beautiful, well-equipped property, very good hosts

  Property is located in a small side street at 10' walking distance from the beach. the property is maintained very well, the rooms are nicely decorated and clean - each with individual airco. In total 4 bedrooms with twin beds over 3 floors. The beds are very good, good mattresses and pillows. The ground floor has a large kitchen (though we always went out to eat in the village) and a bath room with bath, toilet and spacious walk-in shower. The pool is maintained daily, and is flanked by 2 outside areas, 1 table + benches, 1 traditional Thai seating platform. When booking, we were lured by the raving reviews on the breakfast - and it surely didn't disappoint: every evening, you pass your selection, and Maria asks a lot of side questions to make sure your breakfast is "tuned" to your wishes. All products (jams, croissants, pancakes, ...) are made locally and fresh. The mango-passionfruit jam is de-li-ci-ous. Maria is a born hostess: always contactable, quick with responses, and makes it a point of honor to make you feel on holiday. She is fluent in French and Portuguese (other languages get by via translation), and makes sure to be there both on arrival and departure. We went in the low-season, so very few tourists in the village: if you are polite and blend in, you will be treated adorably. Due to low-season, we had the beach almost to ourselves : 800m of breathtaking beauty - just like the postcards. The island is not served by Grab or Bolt, so expect to book local transfers (can get expensive), or rent a car/scooter (be careful on the road: the rules can get ... interpretative ...)

  No complaints whatsoever on the property. If you want more than the beach, you should plan to move out of town for other activities (best to plan them in advance).

  Parfait !

  Nous avons passé un séjour absolument exceptionnel à la Villa Siam Lanna. Tout était parfait du début à la fin ! La villa bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal, à proximité de la mer et de tous les commerces. Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique, calme, verdoyant et incroyablement reposant. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par la beauté des lieux. La piscine est magnifique, extrêmement bien entretenue chaque jour par José, le tout avec discrétion et sens du détail. La maison est superbe, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, parfaitement entretenue elle aussi et d’une propreté irréprochable. Chaque espace invite à la détente et au bien-être. C’est un véritable havre de paix où l’on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi. Un immense merci à Maria, qui a largement contribué à rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité, ses précieux conseils, son attention aux moindres détails et sa bienveillance sont remarquables. Toujours souriante et prête à aider, elle veille au confort de ses hôtes avec une générosité rare. Et que dire de ses petits-déjeuners ! Ils sont tout simplement incroyables : copieux, variés, préparés avec soin et composés de produits délicieux. Chaque matin était un véritable plaisir et un moment que nous attendions avec impatience. Nous recommandons la Villa Siam Lanna sans la moindre hésitation. Entre la beauté du lieu, son emplacement parfait, le calme, la propreté irréprochable et l’accueil exceptionnel de Maria, tout est réuni pour passer des vacances de rêve. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Merci pour tout Maria & José ❤️

  We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

  Villa Siam Lanna was everything we wanted and more as a group of 5. Our hosts were happy to help with anything we needed, the breakfast was incredible, the villa and pool very clean and equipped with everything we needed, we couldn't have asked for more! The location is great, it's quiet and easy to walk to 7/11, the beach and restaurants. We loved our stay here.

  The villa was lovely with comfortable beds and great pillows. The pool was great and children friendly. 5 minute walk to local beach with good restaurants, bars and fire show on the beach.

  There are two separate living/sleeping areas not connected internally and accessed individually. This wasn't an issue for us as our children were old enough to sleep together on first floor while we slept at pool level.
