    The villa was available earlier than the official check-in time, which we really appreciated. The instructions regarding its location and check-in were clear. If you’re looking for a peaceful countryside atmosphere and fresh air, this is the perfect place for you.

    Service was the biggest drawback. The hosts did not seem at all focused on their guests’ needs. It felt as though they were renting out only the walls, and whenever we made a reasonable request, the response was essentially: “It’s not our problem—deal with it yourselves.” For example, when we ran out of toilet paper, we were told to go to the supermarket and buy some. When we mentioned that there were not enough towels, no solution was offered. The curtain rods were broken, which meant that the windows in the living room could not be opened. The property is advertised as a “villa with a jacuzzi,” but in reality, the jacuzzi was unusable. Workers who had been fixing it poured a large amount of chlorine powder into the water. Undissolved powder remained all over the bottom, making it unsafe and unhygienic to enter. The hosts’ response was essentially that nothing could be done and that it should not be dangerous. We strongly disagreed and did not feel safe using it. There is also very little privacy because the lawn is shared with the neighbouring property, with not even a fence separating the two areas. The microwave barely works. If you are not particular about service or these inconveniences, the villa may still suit you. However, based on our experience, we cannot recommend it.
