Cosy, quiet, beautiful stay in Hydra. Rest up and when you’re feeling like a swim or meal wander into Hydra.
Close enough to the village to feel part of it but far enough away to be away from the crowds. It’s a cosy cottage, private, authentic and comfortable. Alex our host made it very easy. We will stay again!
If you aren’t good with steps then stay closer to the village. It is only five minutes up the hill but it is uphill. The lovely mule Despina (or another) will take your luggage up for you.

Stunning view from accommodation
The view from the balcony in unit and from small private pool was gorgeous. Full view of Hydra bay and township below. Very entertaining watching boats come in and out. After negotiating steps unit is close to township. Owner very obliging and friendly.
There are a significant amount of steps to get to unit. Thankfully you can organise mules to take luggage. This unit not suitable for anyone elderly or unfit. We appreciated the work out.

It was a fantastic stay, despite the weather.
Alexander was an exceptionally good host - approachable and helpful in every way - and he checked in daily to ensure everything was in order. Furthermore, Alexander stepped in to help us find and arrange an alternative travel route when the regular ferries were cancelled due to windy weather, enabling us to catch our flight home. His efforts were truly extraordinary, and we give him our highest recommendations.
