We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Theodora. The owners were very helpful before our arrival and sorted out a slight change of plan quickly. The villa is in a lovely location, with great views and a lovely outdoor eating area. Everything was very thoughtfully laid out and nicely decorated.
If pushed for something a bit less positive, it would have been nice for the kitchen to have a bread knife and a tea towel, but it was simple to make-do.

Villa Theodora una bella casa tradizionale ristrutturata molto bene e arredata con gusto immersa nella natura e nel silenzio. Mobili e elettrodomestici sono nuovi. L’aria condizionata nelle camere è silenziosa. Abbiamo adorato a veranda coperta con il ventilatore a soffitto , l’albero di melograno nel patio e la vista sul mare. Katherina, la proprietaria, è molto gentile e disponibile e risponde subito.
L’unico problema è la strada per arrivarci, stretta e ripida come tante strade su Itaca. In particolare l’ultima curva è diabolica: bisogna prenderla con slancio perché è in ripida salita ma non c’é nessuna visibilità. Per fortuna che c’è pochissimo traffico perché (nonostante il cartello di divieto d’accesso) la strada in realtà è a doppio senso. Come minimo sarebbe necessario uno specchio prima della curva perché ogni volta si rischia lo scontro frontale.

Beautiful villa, fantastic hosts.
The apartment war lovely and the setting was incredible, short walk to a lovely quiet beach and the stunning port village of Kioni. Katerina could not have been more helpful.

We loved our villa!! Has a little beach down below the house with a one minute walk. I swam there at every sunrise. So peaceful. Definitely need a car or scooter to get to Kioni since it’ll be a 15 min uphill walk without but it’s easily reachable by car within a few min and it was kind of cool to live on this hilltop house. Local feel and beautiful surroundings. Definitely don’t hesitate to book when in Kioni
