Villa Titan. Rustic charm in a village setting.
We absolutely love the location, the far reaching countryside views and the semi rural position on the edge of Mancha Blanca. The solitude, the peace and the rustic nature of the villa suit our needs perfectly. We also enjoy sharing our time with the resident cat, who we have named "Smudge" who graciously allows us to share this special location in exchange for premium cat food, and a few slices of ham!
Not the problem of the Villa, but occasionally this location can remain cloudy all day, and sometimes the cloudy conditions can persist for a few days, when other areas towards the coast are enjoying hot sunshine. It's our third visit, at various times of the year, and this has happened every time. This requires a drive down to either the Eastern or Southern coastal resorts in order to enjoy the blue skies and warm Canarian sunshine. It's not a deal breaker for us, but I need to mention it. Also Mancha Blanca isn't large, with one small supermarket open 08:00-20:00 every day, one bar, and the fabulous Teleclub which opens Wednesday to Sunday. More options can be found heading into Tinajo, which is a walk, or a short drive away. It might be too quiet for some, but we love it ❤️

Montañas en mi sala
La ubicación, primera línea hacia el parque nacional de timanfaya, la noche, el silencio absoluto, las estrellas, la oscuridad. La naturaleza no pide permiso en esta casa. Espectacular.
