All in all excellent. We had a very enjoyable holiday in Madeira.
Location was good. Nice restaurants nearby. Property was well equipped, and very comfortable. Good sized swimming pool well maintained. Hosts were attentive to our needs and responded quickly to our various messages. Hosts also accommodated us with early check in and late checkout which was very much appreciated.
There is a construction site next to the property which overlooks the terrace and pool area. It was a bit noisy and was somewhat intrusive.

Very noisy building works for a while yet so be careful but will be very nice again once finished
The villa was itself excellent. Nice pool. Gym. Good size. Well specced out.
We were warned there might be some build works 50m away but the works were massively invasive at same level as pool around 20m away. The builders worked very hard from 8 in morning to 7 at night and very noisy. There is a limit to what the owners can do but it made the villa unusable during the day meaning it ended up a terrible choice for a chilled week in amazing Madeira. Meant we got out and about but that wasn’t the idea for entire week! Be very careful over next 12 months or so as hotel has a long way to go! When finished views will be less good but still nice place other than slightly odd bathroom set-up with 3 en-suites but no shared space for fourth bedroom meaning users have to come into bedroom. And also a glass bathroom which is great if you like watching your partner on the toilet!!

The view is obstructed by the new construction The noise from construction There should be simple ingredients like salt and pepper but ran out Hair conditioner?
