  Niet zo'n beste prijs/kwaliteit

  Het zwembad was heerlijk en de locatie top. Dichtbij Lucca en een geweldige ijssalon. Goede restaurants in de buurt, zoals eigenlijk altijd wel jn Italië. Vriendelijke buren.

  Zwembad was niet heel erg schoon, maar kon ook door de aanhoudende hitte komen. Enkele kapotte tuinstoelen. Aardig wat geluid van de buren als je buiten zat. Vooral in de late avond binnen aardig wat geluid van de bovenburen. Binnen was het niet erg schoon. Vaatwasser maakte niet goed schoon. Het huis heeft geen horren voor de ramen. Gezien de hoeveelheid muggen heb je die wel echt nodig. Zeker omdat je het huis moet afkoelen met open ramen. De vitrage die opgehangen is, is vrij zinloos. Beide bovenburen en ook de andere huizen in de buurt hebben uiteraard wel horren.

  Fijn huis in een hele rustige omgeving met een mooie tuin en zwembad op 15 minuten rijden van Lucca. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die ons goed op weg hielpen.

  Geen airconditioning aanwezig en geen horren tegen de insecten.

  Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, die Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich. Das Haus und der Garten ist sehr sauber.

  Charming rustic villa with stunning scenery, great hospitality and a few areas for refresh

  The property itself is beautiful — rustic, full of character and charm. The pool and gazebo were perfect spots to relax, and the surrounding scenery was stunning (even better than the photos). Inside, the villa had everything we needed, with plenty of utensils and cookware for home meals. I even used Deliveroo to order from Carrefour, and groceries arrived within the hour. Two of the rooms have newer en-suite bathrooms, which was a great bonus. Marco, the owner, was kind, respectful and very responsive — even helping us arrange taxis when needed. There’s also a lovely restaurant about a 15-minute walk away, which made evenings out easy and enjoyable. A wonderful stay overall

  The villa has a lot of charm with its traditional character, though this also means the WiFi only works in the kitchen, dining and living areas. The thick old walls add to the feel of the property but do limit the signal. We managed fine, though it did cut out a few times and needed resetting. The linen could do with a fresher wash, and having a few more bath towels would be helpful. I’d also suggest bringing your own shower gel, as only hand soap was provided. The shared bathroom is functional but quite dated and could benefit from a little refresh.

  The outdoor area was absolutely beautiful. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

  Marco, the homeowner, was wonderfully kind and helpful.

  The property unfortunately had quite a strong basement-like smell indoors.
