Overall our stay was still enjoyable because we were able to spend quality time together as a family and make the most o

The venue is conveniently located close to amenities, which made everything easily accessible. The house was also clean but needs a little maintainance. We especially enjoyed the variety of games available, which made for a fun and memorable family experience.

We stayed during the winter season, and although there was a fireplace, the bedrooms remained extremely cold. We were also disappointed that the jacuzzi (or what we understood to be a heated plunge pool) was not working, and the listing mentioned that there would be a coffee machine, so we purchased coffee specifically for it, only to find that there wasn’t one. When we raised this with the lady assisting the host, we unfortunately never received a response.

A comfy old Cape home with the mod cons. What's not to like? The rustic old shutters, pressed ceilings, sprung floors etc lend a sort of old world charm, while the modern fridge freezer and kitchen make cooking and cleaning a breeze.

True to the houses of old, plug points are scarce, so bring extender plug adapters to make your life easier.

Good choice for a getaway with a kid

Authentic Cape-Dutch home with a large yard all to ourselves, spacious and private, we could relax knowing that our baby's cries were not going to wake the neighbours. Loved the coffee machine and swing chairs and indoor braai area.
