  Propreté des installations, sanitaires et chambres à l’intérieur. Sentiment que la maison est moins bien entretenue que les extérieurs et c’est dommage pour le prix payé.

  From the breathtaking views to the wonderful hospitality, every part of our stay was exceptional.

  My family and I stayed at this for two weeks, and we had the most amazing holiday. The villa is absolutely beautiful, and the views of the surrounding mountains are second to none. I’ll really miss enjoying my morning coffee while taking in the stunning scenery. The villa is spacious, well equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are plenty of dining areas both indoors and outdoors, and ample storage throughout the kitchen and bedrooms. Outside, there’s a useful storage room with an additional toilet and shower, along with lots of pool toys, inflatables, buckets and spades for children. We’ve even added a few more to the collection, so future guests are welcome to enjoy them! We also made great use of the barbecue, spending many evenings eating, drinking and relaxing outside. It was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. We also loved the spa facilities and this was a really special addition to our stay. The hosts were fantastic throughout our stay. They were incredibly accommodating and always responded quickly to any questions we had, including recommending lovely local restaurants and even takeaway options. The cleaners also visited during our stay to change the bedding and towels and left the villa spotless. I would definitely recommend hiring a car from the airport, as the villa is in a peaceful rural location around a 10 minute drive from Castellammare del Golfo. One thing to be aware of (which is absolutely no fault of the villa owners) is that taxis can be difficult to find and quite expensive. We paid €60 for a 10 minute journey one evening. If, like us, you enjoy heading into town for dinner and drinks, it’s something worth planning for. Castellammare del Golfo, and Sicily as a whole, is absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t have wished for a better holiday. We’d definitely recommend trying Tropical for some delicious arancine! There are just a couple of small things to mention for families with young children.

  Déception.

  La vue et l'équipement qui étaient nos critères de sélection.

  La personne qui devait nous remettre les clefs est arrivée avec 45 minutes de retard et ne nous a fourni aucune explication. La villa n'avait pas été préparée (scandaleux !), tous les disjoncteurs étaient coupés, piscine (longs cheveux noirs + crasses + spots et LED's défectueux, lames d'eau inopérantes) et jacuzzi (eau trouble, sable et à moitié rempli) pas propres, cheveux noirs dans la maison, une chaise longue cassée et non remplacée. Nous avons perdu + d'un jour a les relancer/attendre pour qu'une partie des problèmes soient résolus. Furieux, j'ai envoyé un whatsapp exigeant une indemnisation pour le stress subi et le temps perdu. Aucune réaction à ce jour. Je conseillerais vivement au propriétaire de changer de gestionnaire de son bien. En 15 ans de locations via booking et abritel/homeaway entre-autres, je n'ai jamais eu le moindre problème/reproche à formuler. C'est malheureusement une première.
