  Many different spaces to relax with gorgeous views.

  The shower was not super warm but maybe I wasn’t patient enough to let it heat; plus I didn’t want to waste water. The water temp was fine, especially understanding that you are in another country.

  Stayed at this property early April for an annual Girls trip and had an amazing experience. The property is Beautiful with an easy walk across the street to a almost private beach. Our Host Armando was exceptionally helpful and always available to help with anything. The Mayakita restaurant is literally a few steps next door and the food , staff and prices were great. There is also an Italian restaurant a few steps away and the food and staff (Alfonso our server) were also great. The only issue we had was with the hot water so many times we had to take cold showers. We would however definitely return to Mayakita.

  Paradise home away from home.

  "Our experience at Villas Mayakita far exceeded our highest expectations in every way. The cleanliness of the accommodations and the breathtaking views of the ocean that greeted us at every hour of the day were simply stunning. The staff went above and beyond, displaying exceptional politeness and attentiveness to our needs throughout our entire stay. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the convenience of having a washer and dryer on hand was truly invaluable. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind on Isla Mujeres. Our family of 6 was overjoyed during our stay, cherishing every moment at Villas Mayakita. Jimmy and Beth Zua were exceptional hosts, treating us like cherished family members. They were always there to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. When I fell ill on the day of our arrival, Beth went out of her way to arrange for medical attention and ensure I had the necessary medications. This act of kindness alone deserves a 5-diamond rating. Their genuine care for our well-being truly made our stay memorable. In addition to the fantastic amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen, washer, and dryer, Villas Mayakita provided umbrellas and chairs for a day at the beach, a barbecue grill for outdoor cooking, and bikes for touring the island. Riding to Punta Sur every morning to enjoy the ocean view became a fun and cherished routine during our stay. We spent 8 wonderful days at Villas Mayakita and wished we could have stayed longer. Isla Mujeres provided a sanctuary of peace and tranquility, allowing us to fully savor precious moments with our family and find inner peace. A heartfelt thank you to the team at Villas Mayakita for making our stay so delightful, comfortable, and serene. We are already looking forward to returning soon."
