    Gorgeous place with an incredible view

    Absolutely gorgeous view! And the location was very central to a lot of sites nearby. Our host was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for things to do

    It was a little cold at night so it would’ve been good to have warmer bedding. The spa also needed a bit more of a clean

    Premium price for a very tired, unclean and unkept property.

    The location and views are beautiful, and there were some lovely welcome touches with wine and cheese on arrival.

    Unfortunately the cleanliness and condition of the accomodation were not up to standard. The hygiene of the spa was particularly concerning with a mouldy cover and brown sludge around the edges, along with heavily stained/slimey bathroom grout, dangerous broken heating vents, grubby walls and doors, chipped crockery and numerous maintenance and presentation issues throughout the house. These weren’t minor oversights requiring a quick clean, but issues that appeared to need a thorough deep clean and ongoing maintenance. The photos speak for themselves. We raised our concerns privately with the host, who acknowledged the issues and said they would be addressed with the cleaning and maintenance team. However, no compensation was offered, with the suggestion that we should have reported everything earlier so cleaners and maintenance could attend during our short 2 night stay. At this premium price point, guests should be able to arrive, unpack and enjoy their accomodation in hygienic condition, not having to inspect the property to arrange for top up cleaning and maintenance. Lovely location with enormous potential, but sadly the presentation did not match the premium price. We would not stay again.
