Villa Zebra is a beautiful property with a lot of potential, and the setting is truly lovely. The villa itself is spacious, attractive, and provides a peaceful atmosphere that makes it a nice place to relax. The property is quite remote and is not close to shops, restaurants, or other amenities. It is also not easily accessible. The road leading to the property is very narrow, and larger vehicles cannot make it all the way to the villa. This means you may need to transfer to a smaller vehicle for the final portion of the journey. For international travelers or larger groups traveling with several pieces of luggage, this can become a significant inconvenience. With multiple people and luggage, you may need to make several trips every time you arrive at or leave the villa, rather than simply being dropped off or picked up at the property. The owner offered to arrange transportation from the main road, but this came at an additional cost, which was not disclosed in the property description. This is important information that guests should know before booking. The listing also mentions massage services and a private cook, but these services are not included in the stay and come at an additional cost. This was not clear to us when we booked and was disappointing. The biggest issue, however, was the internet. We experienced significant connectivity problems throughout our stay, which caused a great deal of frustration. We notified the owner on the first day of our six-day stay, but the issue was still not resolved by our final day. Reliable internet is a basic amenity, particularly for guests who may need to work or stay connected, and we felt this should have been addressed much more promptly. Overall, Villa Zebra is a beautiful property in a lovely and peaceful setting, but the experience did not fully meet our expectations.
