    The room was clean and tidy but out dated . Electric heater stained . Wall switches old and discoloured. Carpet rippled. Bathroom dated. Condiments chest tackle. View out on to a flat room. I did not feel comfortable in the room and left after 2 hours.

    When I checked into my room, it was either still occupied by another guest or the room want made up. When I approached lady on reception she said how strange, no apologies or anything if the sort. Stayed here about 7 times this year so far, but probably won’t stay again now.

    Great stay

    Great stay...went for the Great North Run and not disappointed. Only thing I'd say was the room service was cold but the hotel was very busy at the time.
