  Super kontakt z Właścicielem obiektu, był bardzo pomocny od momentu przyjazdu, przez rekomendacje co zwiedzić, gdzie zjeść, gdzie zrobić zakupy etc. po wyjazd. Sam dom jest bardzo ładny i pozwala poczuć klimat Portugalii.

  Zwei entspannende Wochen in den Hügeln von Sintra

  Wir waren Ende Juli für zwei Wochen dort. Das Haus ist Teil des Dorfkerns von Penedo, einem kleinen Ort in den Hügeln von Sintra. Entsprechend kriegt man auch etwas vom Leben dort mit: Leute, die am Brunnen ihre Wasservorräte auffüllen, Jogger, Radfahrer, die Hunde und Katzen der Nachbarn. Dennoch ist es beschaulich und ruhig. Nur wer wirklich 24h absolute Ruhe braucht, sollte lieber etwas in Alleinlage buchen. Wir waren mit der Ausstattung sehr zufrieden und wo nicht (uns fehlten Polster für die Gartenstühle) hat der Gastgeber sofort nachgebessert. Der ist ohnehin sehr nett und hilfsbereit und lässt auch mal eine Überraschung (Wein, Gebäck) da. Die ganze Umgebung ist toll. Die Vegetation erinnert teilweise an Urwald, die Strände sind ein Traum. Die Temperaturen bleiben im gut aushaltbaren Rahmen, das Meer ist erfrischend. Ohne Auto wird es wahrscheinlich schwierig und man darf sich auch nicht in die Hose machen angesichts der vielen Straßen, durch die nur ein Auto passt, die aber in beide Richtungen befahren werden. Das regelt sich immer entspannt irgendwie. Lissabon und Sintra sind nah dran und auch gut zu erreichen. Klare Empfehlung!

  We stayed in the heart of Colares, in a truly authentic Portuguese home, and it was an unforgettable experience. The house was absolutely wonderful-beautiful, cozy, and full of character and soul. It felt like a real home rather than just a place to stay, and that made our visit even more special. The hosts were just as warm and thoughtful as their home. They provided clear instructions before our arrival, made sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely cared that our stay was comfortable from beginning to end. During our visit, the weather was extremely hot, but the house remained pleasantly cool, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The location is also fantastic, surrounded by beautiful scenery, close to Sintra and wonderful local wineries, making it an ideal base for discovering the area. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would happily return. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
