    Mooie ligging en uitzicht, maar teleurstellende staat en prijs-kwaliteitverhouding

    Op het eerste oog lijkt dit een prachtig appartement. De airco’s werken goed, wat erg prettig is. Daarnaast is de ligging super centraal, midden in Casco Viejo, en het uitzicht vanaf het grote balkon is echt prachtig.

    Helaas zijn er ook behoorlijk wat minpunten. Zo geven ze aan dat Booking.com geen betalingen in Panama faciliteert, wat simpelweg niet klopt. Hierdoor word je gevraagd om via een link in de chat te betalen, wat onveilig aanvoelt. Wij hebben er daarom voor gekozen om pas bij aankomst te betalen. Daarnaast is het echt vergane glorie. Het trappenhuis is vies en het voelt allemaal onaf. Vooral het zwembad en de buitenruimte vallen erg tegen; deze zien er totaal niet uit zoals op de foto’s. Het zwembad is vies en nodigt absoluut niet uit om te gebruiken. Ook de buitenruimte is rommelig door klusspullen en was die er hangt. De kamer zelf is extreem licht. Via de voordeur, het raam naar de hal en de ramen boven de balkondeuren komt veel licht binnen, en er zijn geen gordijnen aanwezig. Hierdoor is het ’s nachts niet donker te krijgen. Bovendien is het erg gehorig en hoor je veel geluid van buiten. Tot slot komt er nog €42 aan tax bij voor één nacht, waar je echt rekening mee moet houden. Uiteindelijk betaalden wij $211 voor één nacht, wat de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding absoluut niet rechtvaardigt.
