  Some Room for Improvement

  The villa was very clean and well presented. Pool was warm enough even though we didn't ask for it to be heated. (Early October). Overall a great first impression.. We were very lucky to be able to get a late check out as our flight home was at 21.30. Spar shop a couple of hundred metres away is fairly well stocked.

  There are a few small things that could be addressed to lift this villa from good to great. We arrived at night. There is very little signage and no outside lighting so it took longer than necessary to find. The WiFi only works in the lounge, kitchen/diner and poolside. Not at all in the bedrooms. The only USB outlets are on the televisions. The air conditioning really only worked in one of the three bedrooms. There was a mobile unit which wasn't much use as it had to be vented to the outside so needed the door cracked open. No chair or mirror in the bedrooms. Not much use for hair and makeup. The shower head was not adjustable. Sprayed water in one direction only or hand held. The lounge needs a floor or table lamps. It's full on overhead lighting or nothing. Individually these aren't of great importance but they add up. Also it is not immediately obvious from the photographs or info provided that there is no step free access. There is a spiral staircase from the garage and the outside pathways have steps. Worth noting if you have mobility issues. All of this applies to Villa 17.

  A Peaceful and Lovely Stay

  This was our second visit, 14 years after our first stay! We were a little unsure what to expect after so many years, but the house is still lovely, spacious and located in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, which we really appreciate. It offers complete privacy with no overlooking neighbours. The bedrooms are large, each with its own bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. We were also allowed to check in earlier than expected, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the outside area as.well.

  The pool could definitely benefit from some maintenance, as it is showing its age and has seen better days. The beds were also a little too firm for our liking, although this is of course a matter of personal preference.

  Lovely villa, unhelpful staff

  The villa was spacious and clean, comfortable beds and lovely size pool for our family which included young children

  We arrived very late due to delays and were met at the hotel reception by the most unhelpful, delibaretly slow receptionist I have ever come across. He asked if the children were tired (age 1 and 5yrs) we replied they were very tired and he laughed and continued to VERY slowly process our arrival. It took 25mins for him to hand over the keys to our villa and then insisted we needed a taxi to get there from the hotel, but refused to call one until the last piece of paper was complete. We decided not to wait for a taxi when we realised the villa was a 5 minute walk away. His smirk and power trip was un-called for and was a very disappointing start to our family holiday
