Great location for a biking, sun-bathing and relaxing week in Tuscany.
Really great for guests that seek such places - nature, heart of small village, taste of Tuscany, quietness etc. Things that come with that are natural and shall be understood - e.g. some insects, vineyard works and noises, neighbors etc. Stylish, well equipped kitchen, decent furniture in bedrooms, good beds. Nice facilities outdoors to relax, direction towards west gives special flavor in the evenings and a sense of seclusion. Great hospitality of the Owner, welcome wine and water - small things brings smile just after arrival. Good location to visit famous cities around.
Communication was difficult, since the Owner speaks only Italian; but this was not an issue at all - I followed others suggestions - when calling her just honked and the entrance gate was open - she was just waiting for us there. I would suggest to consider involvement of someone speaking English (maybe just on the arrival and on-demand if necessary later on) when they expect non-Italian speaking guests. There were some renovation works in the house at the back, they started early each day - waking-up talks and noises was again not an issue, but the guests shall be aware they are not the only one over there.
