    Old cottage nicely decorated

Cottage at the end of the village (Paula called it a hamlet with only 5 houses, they mentioned it is a very old when built originally). Private car parking. The modern ensuite shower in the room was great. If you have a car there are a number of options to dine out within 3-4 miles. We just went to the closest Dominoes to grab vegetarian pizzas and then to Tesco's cafe in the morning.

I think they have very little experience of hosting immigrants - so they gave us a lot of instructions in the very first 10 minutes which didn't work with my partner and teenage kids who are born and brought up here. It might have been an oversight but they forgot to do the duvet covers in both rooms and also for some reason the rooms felt less airy - it could be due to the wet weather as well. Being a cottage there are steps to get in and out of rooms as well. We used the two rooms on the first floor which are behind a single lockable door. Walking on the floor did make noise but no one complained. They have some healthy geese and chickens next to the parking lot. For some reason the property didn't feel to match the description in the listing. It could be just us tired after 5 days of travelling.
