Thank you so much, Ms. Virginia! We've already boarded the train to Naples, and the clouds outside the window are so thick, with the sunset casting a beautiful array of orange-red hues across them. I hope you enjoyed today's sunset too Today we visited Positano, a vibrant and picturesque city bustling with tourists. I hope next time we're ready with our swimsuits so we can go swimming in the sea. Thanks to your recommendation, we took the ferry back to Sorrento on our way home, and we got to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast along the way - absolutely breathtaking. Just two short days here was enough for us to appreciate and be grateful for your warm hospitality. I'm sorry we didn't have time to write our thanks in the guest book. We really enjoyed looking through the photo album your father took at home, and we got to see Sorrento through the eyes of a family full of love and sunshine. Your father seems to really like cacti - I bet he's just as resilient and optimistic as those plants, no matter what the circumstances. A spacious, well appointed apartment. We loved having meals on the balcony, overlooking the pool and with far-reaching coastal views. A superb base for spending time exploring Sorrento and the surrounding area. We did this by bus, train and ferry (all within east walking distance). Virginia and her son gave us a warm welcome, and Antonio gave us lots of great suggestions for things to do and was genuinely keen to ensure we had a great time, which we did.
Beds are a little hard, but it wasn’t a problem for us.
