Well equipped and historic apartment in a lively area. Air conditioner was wonderful.
The host was friendly and the apartment had everything I needed, even an iron. The location was perfect for me, and the area had a really lively feel, slightly off the tourist centre. The kitchenette was simple but welcome and with a small dining area. Comfortable bed with varied pillow types. There is a lovely cafe for breakfast close by in the street. An issue with access to the apartment was quickly rectified when I phoned and the host arrived to let me in. I could also leave luggage on the day of departure. Feels well organised and supported.
There was only one minor hiccup. I was corresponding via Booking.com messages and gave an email address and arrival time as requested. The host had responded with instructions on What'sApp which I don’t generally use. There is no view from the room.

We loved our stay in Florence. Thank you.
We loved being in a residential area within easy reach of the city. It was beautiful and quiet which gave us a restful reset. Mirko was really patient when our payment encountered problems prior to our arrival. Having the information about the apartment and the city on the table was really helpful, also having some history of the building made the stay special and unique.
The apartment is well stocked but fluffy towels and giving the bathroom a deep clean would make the stay really lovely. The shower tiles were in need of a good clean but having a large shower cubicle is a luxury in Europe that we really appreciated. Entry to the apartment and especially the steep stairs being pitch black dark is quite dangerous and difficult to manage.
