    Overlooking the sea

    Dear Property and Booking.com Support, I'm requesting reimbursement for the nights I did not use during my stay at Vista d'Amalfi from 2026-10-14 to 2026-10-17. I'm 71 years old, and there was no clear mention of the stairs or difficult access on the site before booking. On arrival, we found the property accessible only through a very narrow door on a busy road, then three flights of narrow stairs to reception. We declined a room with a balcony because it would have required another flight of stairs and moved to a smaller room instead. The room also had a sewer smell and ants in the bed, and the area was noisy. Because of these issues, we checked out in the morning and could not continue our stay. I have photos documenting the situation and would like to request a refund or compensation for the unused nights. Please let me know the next steps.

    The best hotel in Amalfi for location, views, breakfast delivered to your room 👌 fantastic host too!! Literally couldn’t

    The hotel was in a fantastic location 2 minutes walk to the centre to the cathedral and plenty restaurants and shops! The view overlooking the sea and marina was breathtaking!! Watching the sunset literally from your bed! The rooms were spotless, lovely little balcony to take in the views and even the bathroom had a window that overlooked the sea! Our host was fantastic, upgraded our room simply because he knew it was my birthday (noted my DOB from my passport!😊)

    There was nothing I could complain about whatsoever!! Great choice of accommodation!

    Remek szállás csodás panorámával és szuper házigazdával

    Csodás, erkélyes, tengerre néző szobát kaptunk, amelyet kérés nélkül magasabb kategóriájúra cseréltek, és még a korábbi bejelentkezésre is lehetőségünk volt. Házigazdánk, Andrea rendkívül kedves és figyelmes volt, a szoba hangulata és a gyönyörű kilátás pedig annyira elvarázsolt minket, hogy végül meg is hosszabbítottuk a tartózkodásunkat. Szerettünk az erkélyen üldögélni és gyönyörködni a panorámában. A szállás központi elhelyezkedésű, könnyen megközelíthető, így nem kellett sokat gyalogolnunk. A reggeli is fantasztikus volt: minden reggel a szobánkba kaptuk, bőséges, friss és finom választékkal. Szívből köszönjük Andreának a kedvességét, figyelmességét és a sok apró gesztust, amelyek igazán különlegessé tették az itt-tartózkodásunkat! Nagyon kellemes élmény volt, örömmel térnénk vissza.
