  Great stay, highly recommend!

  We stayed for 2 weeks from 26th Sept to 10th Oct and couldn't have asked for better hosts (owners), Eleni and Michalis. They were very welcoming, with delicacies waiting for us on arrival. Eleni also messaged, during our stay, and offered help if we required it. We needed a repair for a flat tyre and received a very quick response sending a pin to a reliable garage that they use themselves. There was also an issue with a leaking kitchen tap, but Michalis was there that day to fit a new one. We stayed in Myrto, with the pool. The apartment is just as it appears on the listing spacious, modern and very clean. Comfortable, with fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Wifi dropped a couple of times, but only very briefly. The view from the little balcony at the side of the kitchen it pretty amazing (also a good spot to dry washing when raining). The pool is seasonal, not heated, and unfortunately with bad weather the first week, colder weather and the sun being low, it didn't really warm up enough for me to be able to enjoy a swim (though my husband had a quick dip). However, it was very clean and the garden is peaceful, so we were able to enjoy a few afternoons relaxing in the sun reading. Chania airport, beaches and Chania town are all just a short drive away. It can be difficult to find a parking space in the centre of Chania, so we did make use of the Park & Ride, but learned that you need to get there either early or from mid afternoon, otherwise it's packed. We also walked from there to the centre, primarily along the side of the beach, as it actually only took about 20 mins by foot. Eleni arranged for Michalis to drop by on the day we were returning home, with a little Cretan treat. Having advised them we were vegans, they went out of there way to find something that we could eat. This was going above and beyond what I'd expect from any host. Thank you, Eleni & Michalis. We look forward to our next visit.

  There is a parking space, but parking could be a little tricky for those not used to having to turn into a parking spot from a pretty steep hill. But this is a very small negative and is far outweighed by all the positives.

  Location , the view , the interior

  The one Parking spot up the hill was a bit difficult to park in.
