    DON’T STAY AT THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SLEEP.

    Check in was easy. Arrived around 10PM. They just sent a video and followed.

    We booked a two-night stay at Vista Mare Apartments, and unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here if getting a good night’s sleep is important to you. We were given the ground-floor room, Room 282. We were up almost the entire night because of the constant noise from the trains and cars outside. The property is located directly by the road and railway, and from our room, the noise was extremely disruptive. Naturally, after not being able to sleep, I messaged the property on WhatsApp to explain the situation. I also went to the front desk, where I was told that we could move to a room on the second or third floor—but only if we paid an additional €80. I was also told that some guests are able to sleep through the noise and some are not. Well, we were definitely the guests who could not sleep through it. For me, asking a guest to pay an additional €80 is not a reasonable solution when the problem is the noise. There was also no guarantee that moving to another floor would actually solve the issue. Why should we pay more without knowing whether we would still hear the trains and traffic from the new room? Changing hotels in the middle of a short two-night stay is also not as simple as it sounds. It means packing everything again, finding another available property at the last minute, checking out, traveling somewhere else, and checking in again—all while trying to enjoy a vacation. The apartment itself may work for people who are very heavy sleepers or who are not bothered by road and train noise, but if you are a light sleeper or value peace and quiet at night, I would strongly consider staying somewhere else. Unfortunately, we booked two nights here expecting to rest and enjoy our stay, but instead we spent the nights unable to sleep. Whatever you do, if you want a peaceful night’s sleep, I would not recommend booking a room here.
