perfect!
We really loved our stay at Volcano Teapot Cottage. The cottage is warm and cozy, with everything we needed ready for us. It feels just like home. It was even nicer in person than in the photos. The location is very convenient, only a short drive from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings a lot. Bill is such a thoughtful host. He took care of many small details in advance and was always easy to reach. As the hurricane drew near, he kindly shared lots of safety tips and useful suggestions about alternative activities after the national park closed. Although we made our own decision to head to Kona early, knowing Bill was there gave us tremendous peace of mind. We felt so welcome and well looked after during our stay. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Big Island, and highly recommend it!

A cute little cottage in a perfect location for the volcano
I can echo the other reviews, Bill was so helpful, the kitchen is well stocked with breakfast foods, the cottage is spacious, beautifully decorated & very clearly located to the volcano Park. The bathroom was a great size also. The property was also easily to find & access.
It was really wet on both the days we were here & I think a dehumidifier could be a good idea at such an elevation as the temperature monitor in the bedroom showed 75% humidity when I arrived, & reached 86% by the morning. It might be worth monitoring this to keep the property fresh :)

Bill was nothing short of a lifesaver. We were there in the thick of Hurricane Lala, and he took great care to make things as comfortable and safe for us - with candles, torchlight, water and more. His standard set of breakfast provision consisting of pastries, fruits, eggs, frozen bread and more were plentiful - it lasted us two meals. He also helped us plot a route once it was safe for us to head to our next location. Mahalo Bill!

Top Location und super Lage zum Nationalpark
Mit Liebe zum Detail perfekt und gemütlich ausgestattet. Da bleiben wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Haus und Garten außerordentlich gepflegt. Nur wenige Fahrminuten zum volcano Park. Bill empfing uns sehr freundlich und hat uns umfassende Infos zum Park, zur Insel und zu allem, was man wo machen kann/sollte gegeben. TOP
