Pleasant
Vania was an excellent host, always ready to communicate and happy to provide advise on local stuff. The access to the flat was very straightforward, which was on a first floor without acces to the elevator. The location was very good, with several bus and tram options to get to different parts of the city center. It was also super practical to have the Trastevere train station only 5 minutes away by foot, from there you could easily get to and from Fiumicino Airport and Termini train station.
I think the photos of this place were a bit misleading, it definitely looked better in pictures. Upon arrival, we found a puddle of water in the middle of the kitchen. It was old, smelly water that seemingly came from the fridge not being properly closed hours before. After two flights and a whole day of traveling, the last thing I wanted to do was to deal with that scenario. The bathrom's main light switch was broken (there was an actual hole on the wall) which I think was both dangerous for the children and unfortunate as it was overall dark with only one working bulb by the mirror and a second one burned out. I think the whole place in general was lacking some taking care of small details, which in the end is what makes the diference.

Very affordable accommodation in a good location. Great for families!
Very clean and spacious apartment with everything you need. Supermarket nearby along with local restaurants. Great location, train station with link to airport not more than 5/10 minutes walk away. Host was very responsive to any questions we had.
Had a little trouble getting in the main door at front of building, always worried we wouldn’t be able to get the key to work after a long day touring the sights! Street can be a little noisy from busy main road at night time.
