    Absolutely fantastic location, this cabin is straight from a dram or fairytale!

    It was fantastic to leave civilization behind and just be in nature in the middle of nowhere. During our one-week stay, we only saw three hikers and a logging truck driver. We stayed with our 9-month-old baby, and he really enjoyed it too. Having to heat water for showers or build a fire in the stove to boil water made us realize how much comfort we take for granted in everyday life. We really appreciated that the property now features a shower and a toilet. The solar panel on the roof and the battery provided plenty of power for lighting and charging phones. While there is no fridge, the root cellar got the job done perfectly. Overall, we are really enjoyed staying in Kosak Hütte.

    I would have appreciated it if the information shared in the Welcome Letter had been visible before booking, specifically that you cannot drive to the property after 6:00 PM. It would also be helpful to highlight upfront that there is no fridge, but rather a root cellar.
