  We would stay here again!

  We absolutely loved the lodge. It was in a quiet area with no road noise. It was clean and well presented. It had all of the features advertised and more. The owners were really nice and polite, even with my 11pm phone call. We would 100% be staying here again.

  Relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.

  We've stayed in one of the cabins before, so knew that the location was set in peaceful countryside. So nice to be next to the water mill with it's cafe and pretty grounds, plus pleasant walks in the woods by the stream. The cabin was comfortable, spacious and we really liked the large covered balcony facing the woods. We enjoyed the welcoming hospitality at the mill cafe - great cream teas - and had a fun afternoon playing on the crazy golf course. Although the cabins are 'in the middle of nowhere' it is a short drive to Freshwater and Totland for groceries, takeaways and beaches.

  Unfortunately the oven was broken & the kitchen a little lacking in cleaning supplies, but this was sorted out satisfactorily within hours and did not affect our stay. Nothing to do with the cabin, but we were disappointed to find that the ban for dogs on beaches extends until September 30th, so we were unable to get onto the beaches we wanted to visit during our short stay.

  Disappointed

  Location , size of property.

  Oven not working and no action taken to remedy for duration of holiday . Bedroom window didn't close properly or lock , upstairs bathroom window didn't open for additional ventilation , window wouldn't open and we didn't want to force it . I had to fix shower cubicle door as it had come off its hinges . Ground floor toilet seat was broken . Shower rail in upstairs bathroom came off , had to be put back in most showers . Outside light by front door not working , curtains didn't meet at the top of all the windows and due to height of windows it was not possible to do anything about this letting light in early into childrens room. I felt that for the money paid this was unacceptable.
