    A lovely three day visit

    I don’t really understand the recent bad reviews. Yes, the bathroom is out of date and needs a refresh. But the room was lovely, huge, clean and very comfortable. It doesn’t have the requisite 50” smart tv in the room and that was just fine with us. The restaurant was excellent and just a short stroll away on a beautiful night surrounded by vineyards. We stayed three nights and the staff was attentive and gracious.

    As stated above the bathrooms, although clean, definitely could use an overhaul. Other than that, it was great.

    A wonderful way to stay in Williamsburg, VA

    This was our 3rd visit and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The rooms are splendid and eclectic. It's a nice way to visit Williamsburg. The complementary wine tasting at Williamsburg Winery is a real bonus and well worth it.

    The wifi in the room needs work. Cell phone reception is poor so unless the wifi signal improves, it's difficult to have functional internet usage.

    Charming but uncomfortable beds

    Situated in a vineyard just a couple of miles from historic Williamsburg it was a welcome reprieve from the bustle of our usual life. The staff were very friendly.

    The hotel didn’t seem to have very many patrons and the bathrooms could use some maintenance. The entire place had a “sleeping beauty” feel to it- like it once was really nice, but no longer well serviced. The beds were a uncomfortable and creaking disaster.
