    The property is well located in Venice, a short walk away from the vaporetto and about 20 min walk from Piazza San Marco. The place is clean and comfortable and stayed surprisingly cool despite the heat outside and being under the roof. There is air-conditioning available which made it all the more enjoyable after a day of walking in the city. Cristina's instructions were clear and easy to follow and she was great answering our questions when we had any. Note that there are 3 flights of stairs to climb, so it might not be ideal for people with reduced mobility. As for getting there, if driving, you can park at the Tronchetto carpark and take the People Mover train and then walk about 15 min from Piazzale Roma, or the Vaporetto line 2, then line 1 (the change between lines is easy, they use the same pier stop in Piazzale Roma), then walk about 7 min. We did the people mover to get there since we came in the evening and it only costs 1.50 euro per pax, but on the way back we used our 24h transit pass (25 euros) purchased the day before and still active to take the vaporetto. Shorter walk to the vaporetto and closer to the carpark.

    We’ve stayed in five AirBnB’s traveling Italy this month, and this property was the most underwhelming.

    The bedroom in the main floor works very well for families with kids.

    There is only one shower and it’s extremely tiny with a broken shower door. Also, the AC made the main level cool, but the upper bedroom was too hot at night. We were also not impressed with the location of this property. It was surrounded by dirty streets filled with graffiti and broken down buildings. We never felt unsafe, but it’s not the romantic Venice you read about.
