Lack of care and attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

The location was okay, nice quite area.

Broken door handles on both toilet/bathroom and upstairs toilet. Also cracked mirror upstairs toilet, no tea towels to dry up with in the kitchen after washing dishes, cobwebs with spiders attached around the kitchen cupboards like no one hoovered for a month. No kitchen roll available. Loose tea bags open in a dish, who would want to use them. Open the cutlerydraw to find a pair of scissors which looked like wallpaper paste all over them next to clean cutlery. . No lock on downstairs bathroom door. The biggest gripe was the bed sheets all smelt sweaty which meant you smelt sweaty after getting out of bed. Electric sockets need looking at in the bedroom at the top of the stairs,. Blind at the top of the stairs fell to the floor when trying to close,(wasn't even attached to the wall)Just generally not well maintained.....pictures are deceptive..

Adventurous family stay with a cosy home to come back to :)

The property was very spacious, everything you needed being away from home :) we were a short drive from zip world, Brecon Beacons, dinas rock and the bat cave, and everyone in the village we’re very nice and welcoming

Not that I didn’t like the property but we did have to give the sides and drawers a wipe down on arrival as the cleaners wasn’t very thorough but that’s not the hosts fault, apart from that the house was lovely, being a host myself I know how rushed the cleaners can be sometimes :) especially in the heat

It was functional with a suitable location.

The property itself was a good size and in a fantastic location, particularly for BikePark Wales and the many local walks nearby. It had the potential to be a wonderful place to stay and served as a great base for exploring the area.

Unfortunately, the property felt quite tired and in need of some TLC. The cleanliness was below the standard we expected, the garden was overgrown and not particularly enjoyable to use, and the bed in the master bedroom was broken, which affected our comfort during the stay. With some attention to maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep, this could be a lovely holiday property in an excellent location.
