Do not stay here
DO NOT STAY HERE!! I regret having this experience while staying with a one-and-a-half-year-old child. 1. The apartment and balcony were swarming with ants, especially the kitchen. I chose to cook because I was staying with a small child; it was a shock to find the kitchen overrun by ants the next day, even though the trash had been taken out. There was an army of ants on the terrace, too—it’s no wonder they provided insect spray. 2. Cleanliness was lacking right from the start. You couldn't walk barefoot on the floors, not even between rooms. They didn't even provide cleaning products—just a bucket and a mop. 3. The mattresses were very old and extremely hard; it was impossible to sleep on them. 4. The noise was unbearable: the construction site right in front of the building, traffic, noisy neighbors, and an elevator that was situated practically inside the apartment. So, if you want peace and quiet, this isn't the place for you. 4. Difficult access to the city center, the train station, and tourist attractions. 5. Another major issue was that we were given only one set of keys. One of the keys had to be kept inserted inside the apartment to keep the electricity running. The keys were linked in such a way that if someone wanted to leave the apartment and take the keys along to ensure re-entry, they would leave anyone remaining inside without electricity. 6. My deposit was withheld because of a headboard—where my one-and-a-half-year-old child had slept—that was actually broken by the cleaning staff after we left; they blamed the person who had slept in that bed. A word of advice to those still considering staying here: they told me they would repair the headboard, but the bed itself is so old and dilapidated that it remains a danger to anyone sleeping there—since a mere repair offers no guarantee it won't fall again—and a danger to the guest's wallet.
