    Wessex guest house. Basingstoke

    The location was excellent for us. It was very clean. Facilities was good. Excellent value for money

    happy to stay again but feel the door needs fixing

    Vey clean, well decorated and quiet. A little cramped. The patio door was incredibly difficult to lock/unlock. With the shower the pressure went down the hotter it got.

    Convenient stop for me between Bournemouth and Heathrow, but with heating and wifi issues.

    This guesthouse is not a hotel, or even close to being one. The parking is very easy, in their front yard. But the ground is gravel so no rolling a suitcase.

    No heat or wifi for hours. I did manage to connect to an alternate wifi for which the proprietor sent particulars, likely one of their private sites. And there was no heat until 8 am, when the temperature in the room was down to 15 C. The room is small with no chair at all. I had to tote one from the backyard, around the perimeter of the property to get it to my room, which was bordered by a meter of large pebbles, so a suitcase will not roll
