    Great place to stay

    Pool and gardens were fabulous and Delilah the dog was so much fun. Lucy, the owner, was extremely friendly and responded quickly to all our questions.

    Lovely traditional cottage in peaceful surroundings

    West Cottage is a lovely little cottage in a quiet rural location. It forms part of the house that the owners live in. You can park outside your door although access is along the drive to the main house. The owner came out to meet us and explained everything, and was on hand next door if you needed anything. The beds were comfortable and the facilities larger than the pictures show. WiFi connections great for TV but emergency calls only on mobiles. Plenty of spare towels, two bathrooms and everything you would need for cooking. Play area for children and swimming pool.

    The swimming pool, is shared with the owners and not near the cottage, but behind trees to the side of the main house. We found the small arm chair just too old and worn for comfort. The whole house and cottage can be let together so there are access doors upstairs and downstairs, although locked when the cottage is let separately.

    Hyggelig indrettet og dejlig stemning. Smukke og fredelige omgivelser. Sjæl og stemning i det hamle og historiske hus.

    Der manglede små detaljer. Hynder til havemøblerne var revnet, og poolen var lidt snavset. Parasolfoden var rusten så man ikke kunne bruge parasollen. Mindre ting i forhold til helheden og det dejlige hus, men små forbedringer ville gøre det fuldendt.
