  Perfect, for a mini family break. Busy days but relaxed evenings in the hot tub .

  Amazing and quirky. Lovely decor ,with a very luxurious finish . Beautifully set in the cliff and alleys , right amongst the hustle and bustle of a thriving coastal town.

  Needed small space for shoes rack. Which is just me being practical.

  Amazing and will recommend to others.

  We loved everything about our stay at the mast cottage, the attention to detail has not gone unnoticed. The rooms are decorated beautifully and are spotlessly clean. We were very thankful for the lovely hamper left with a high quantity of high quality products which are locally sourced to support local businesses, we thought this was a lovely touch and a generous gesture. The facilities were excellent, we appreciated the good quality kitchen and cooking utensils such as the air fryer, having plenty glasses, dishes and other utensils which guests may often forget for self catering stays like scissors and bottle openers, as well as the hand soaps, dish cloths and dishwasher tablets this was very helpful. The hot tub is of the highest standard which had plenty room for 6 guests and maintained its temperature. Lastly, the location is ideal in the town centre of Whitby, but not directly on the Main Street so it is very quiet.

  There was nothing we didn’t like about this property, however I could give a small recommendation that it would be helpful to have a small bin in the bathroom for make up wipes and sanitary products.

  Comfortable, great location a perfect little home away from home!

  Great location close to all amenities and the beach. Cute setting and internal decor. Hot tub was a great addition. Lovely welcome basket and lots of plates, cups, glasses and all the necessary essentials. Plenty of towels and everything was clean. Very helpful to have the parking pass to cover the 2 days. Gavin was very prompt and helpful and there is a great detailed welcome PDF which tells you everything you need to know! Really enjoyed our stay here thanks

  These are not negatives as the property over all was great and I felt it was definitely value for money considering the location and it being at the start of summer season! Parking is great but the steps up and down may cause issues for some however you can park at the front to nip in your bags so there is a work around. I think the outdoor space is great but could do with a bit of a tidy up and paint to really give it the wow factor! It is quite an open space so maybe a little more privacy could be created either side. If it had of been later in the year with darker evenings I noticed there were no lights at all outside near the hot tub area which would be better safety wise and also create an nice ambiance to sit outside. There was some peeling paint on the walls inside and a few cobwebs here and there but again that’s just my personal attention to details! Maybe some bin bags would be good to have for extra rubbish as there is only one bin in the property. So these are not things I didn’t like just that I noticed but I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to my clients. It really was a lovely little home from home! (The door handle to the stairs needs to be fixed though as this was not secure!)
