    The building was under construction and covered with scaffolding, with noise, no view and mould in the shower, but none

    The property is currently under major renovation and the entire building is covered with scaffolding. You cannot see anything outside from the windows, and when you arrive, the building looks like a construction site. It was actually very difficult to find because you would not expect that guests were staying inside a building in this condition. There was also significant noise from the construction work, and we had to keep the windows and shutters closed. In addition, the shower had a considerable amount of mould, which was very disappointing and unacceptable. Most importantly, it should have been clearly stated at the time of booking that the building was undergoing major renovation and was covered in scaffolding. If we had known the actual condition of the property beforehand, we would not have booked it. By the time we discovered the situation, we were already there and it was extremely difficult to find and move to another hotel at short notice. I was also very disappointed that the staff member did not properly explain or identify which building we would be staying in until after payment had been taken and all charges had been processed. Guests should be informed clearly and honestly about major construction or renovation work before they make a booking and payment. Unfortunately, our experience was very different from what we expected when making the reservation.
